Stones Corner Club
Stones Corner Club, a Gold Coast collective collaboration concept is today excited to share with you their second single release ‘Cellophane’
Inspired by The Beatles ‘St Peppers lonely hearts club band’ Cellophane is a modern psychedelic pop song that has taken the idea of see-through color to write about the need for more transparency across social and racial subjects.
Written, recorded and produced by Scott Gellatly who performs vocals on this track alongside a couple of Brisbane music heavyweights, such as Sean Foran piano/keys, (Trichotomy) and Tom Combes guitar and bass.
Cellophane is accompanied by a spectacular visual representation of the song. Designed by Sydney’s Harley and J.

GUITAR AND BASS
As his first Instrument, guitar has been a passion of Tom’s since the tender age of 10.
Fast forward 17 years and Tom has toured nationally as a in-demand session player, played on the main stage of several music festivals and has had his signature guitar playing recorded on several albums.
His unique style of playing incorporates finger picking with simultaneous percussion on the soundboard to create a detailed wall of sound.
Tom’s original songs are a unique weave of deeply textured melody, story and exploration. Tom’s phenomenal finger style playing, subtle tone and seasoned musical taste push the boundaries of what’s possible on an Acoustic guitar.
The result of this hard work is evident his debut album ‘Spark’ launched in 2015. ‘Spark’ is a culmination of the years of guitar discovery that has dominated Tom’s life these last 20 years.
Brad Williams is an up and coming musician with a relatively long history of live performance. As Govinda artfully puts his musical experience into an array of national and International music related projects, it’s not just luck that has got him to where he is. He has a wealth of musical experience after years of playing and touring relentlessly in popular Australian bands, learning invaluable tricks of the trade and working with world famous international producers and musicians. Being open to learning and being inspired through the ever-changing music industry has only helped him mold into somewhat of a mentor inspiring artists into the right direction.
He has helped many musicians gain success by encouraging them to reach radio audiences and open many new doors for their music journeys. After recording and co-producing Angus & Julia Stone’s platinum selling smash hit “Big Jet Plane” which won the Aria award for Australian single of the year, he has gained a fair amount of popularity. This song was on the Aria winning album of the year “Down The Way” but was originally recorded for the “Lady Of The Sunshine” debut record “Smoking Gun”. Despite all of this Govinda maintains a humble and relaxed approach to his work and life itself.
By using an organic and disciplined work ethic he has helped artists by creating a plethora of methods and approaches to capture their very best performance.
Realizing one approach or sound does not work for each individual it’s important to create a vision for both the artist and himself. After 20 years of hard work and dedication he knows how to pick talent and more importantly knows what to do with it.
